Hi. I was testing my scorm file on iPad (Safari 13.1) and notice that VO is working only on first slide. Next one need to go Next and Previous to get the VO playing. I think it could be auto-play in Safari but I'm not sure. Maybe some other issue? Course is playing fine on Chrome and on computers. Does anyone know how to fix it?
We've exported from the latest version of Storyline but issue is still present, despite efforts from Storyline support's team.
I understand browsers now prevent auto-play, and that's why Storyline now has a "Play" button that user has to click before "launching" the course, but this doesn't seem to communicate to Safari that there has been a user interaction, and that it's therefore Ok to auto-play elements in screens after launching course.
Thanks for checking back in! We don't have an update to share as we are still prioritizing other bug fixes and features for upcoming releases. We'll update you in this discussion when this bug fix makes it on the roadmap.
I have created a course in storyline and while it is playing on iPAD on iOS 13+, audio is not playing. Please let me know if there is any work around of this. However, course is accessible.
I'm having the same issue. Just updated to latest iOS and SL3 versions, and Storyline content still has no sound on iPad. Has this fix made it "onto your roadmap" yet? Seems like a pretty big deal, as a large percentage of students use iPads.
As I said, I just updated both iOS and SL3 yesterday. It did not solve the problem.

Thanks for reaching out, and I'm sorry to hear this.
Because the audio trouble with iOS is happening on the latest update for you, our Support team is going to step in! You should receive an email from one of our engineers shortly.
If you could share an affected file, that would help us greatly. Simply use the private, unique upload link in your case.
P.s. Just sharing that your contact info came through to the public forum. If you'd like to remove it, click this link and make the change.
Sorry, you're running into this issue! I've responded to you in this discussion, letting you know that I've opened a case on your behalf with our Support Engineers. Our team is ready to troubleshoot this issue with you!
This issue was fixed in Storyline 360 (Build 3.48.24116.0), which was released in January 2021. If you're using the latest version of Storyline 360 and still seeing this issue with the audio on iOS devices, then we'll want to take a look at the affected file. Would you mind connecting with a Support Engineer to begin troubleshooting?
Thank you for all your help - I figured it out and feel silly for it now but in case this comes up again for you, the video is in the eLearning heroes reply at the bottom that shows how I fixed it.

Hi, Anyone had any luck with this yet?

Good morning, Anirudh!
Thanks for raising your concern and opening a support case as well!
I see you're already working closely with one of our Engineers, Georvy, where he asked some good clarifying questions to help us explore further.
You're in great hands!

I have a confirmed outstanding case from August for Loss of Sound on iOS devices. Initial feedback from support was that they anticipate a fix in Q4.
We had this issue some time back and it resolved itself when we updated the software. Now it plays on 13+ devices.

Can anyone tell me if this audio issue is fixed in any of the newer SL updates post 3.30ish?
I'm running iOS 14.3 on my iPad and audio is a mess in Safari. Animations are very choppy.
