I have a Likert scale which is just 1 question but has 10 options along it's scale. Is there a way to spread the buttons out across the slide? at the moment all 10 circular buttons take up a very small amount of width but all the buttons overlap slightly. It seems like if you have 2 or 3 buttons they take up the same space?
I've tried creating a freeform slide but using a pick many slide isn't appropriate and a pick one slide won't work as there has to be 1 correct answer, which there isn't.
Are you using Storyline 2? In Storyline, you can create a likert scale question. I believe the default number of choices are 5, but you can easily change it to 10 by adding to the scale.
When you create your question slide, just select "Survey" from the list of question type slides.
Thanks, I've created the slide using the likert option in the survey question types but it is all crammed together, I want to space out the options more. I've attached the slide.
Looking at it, I don't see any way to fix it either, it appears that formatting is locked into the template for the likert slide.
Here is a workaround that might work for you. I've created a custom likert slide for the user to interface with. This slide saves the results in the next slide, which is a text response slide. The triggers enter the value slide and immediately clicks submit, then moves to the next slide. This allows the result to go to the LMS. This slide if for logic only, but doesn't stop on this slide for the user to interact with. You could put a blank box over the entire slide to prevent anything from showing to the user.

sorry, meant to say that I'm using Storyline 2
Hmmm, that's rather inconvenient.

Hi Dave,
this will work well, thanks for your help with this, I'd been going round and round in circles for ages trying to sort it out.
Thanks
Cool! I'm glad that will work for you.
Hi Colin
this might work for you - pick one with an offstage object as the 'correct' answer.
Hi Wendy,
Perhaps I'm missing something, but how does that report which answer was selected?
