Specific Player Colors

Sep 26, 2014

Hello all!

I understand how to customize the player colors ("Colors & Effects" > "Advanced Color Editing" > choose color for each aspect of the player), however I'm hoping to choose different colors for each item on my menu.

For instance I want all of my introduction slides in the menu to be orange (or just orange when hovered), and all of the next scene to be blue, and the following scene to be blue, etc...

I don't want all of my text to be the same color on the menu.

I have the rest of the presentation color coded and it would be perfect to keep the theme so viewers can distinguish the different scenes easily (or at least the visual learners...) to find the information they are looking for.

Thanks for any help.

While this is possible you should know that player colors are global across the course. That said there are two ways to achieve this.

1. Develop each scene as a separate course and have them be several courses in an overall curriculum in your LMS.

2.  Don't use any of the player options. Custom create your own player with navigation buttons. This way you can have a different design in each scene.

Custom design always looks better. But you also have to factor in time and budget. But you should make these decisions based on what the project requires to deliver the best instruction.
