Speed up launching of layers?

Hi Ho Heroes!

On my Base Layer I have several hotspots that link to additional defined layers.

The layers seem to be launching more slowly than usual.

I started out with a button set with different states that changed in each layer. Later I decided to delete the button set from the base layer and just put them on the other layers. Then I finally realized that if I put one on each layer, I don't have to use different states, but still have triggers.

Clicking on a button in one layer should also launch any of the other layers, but that is also slow.

How can I speed up this action?
