I have a presentation where every slide links to every other slide. This is enabled through button links in a left nav bar. I have also embedded hard coded links in the next and previous buttons if users want a straight narrative. I am finding that slides spontaneously jump to others almost immediately. I have scoured the thing and cannot find any triggers that use the timeline. What is happening here? It makes the course unusable.
Also, is there a way to not have the next and previous buttons at all?
If you'd like to disable the "Next" and "Previous" buttons for the player, you can certainly do this. You can either select one, or all of your slides in Story View and un-check the option for either button.
For the issue with the slides jumping; what are you currently using for slide advancement? It sounds like the slides may be advancing automatically. If that's the case, you should be able to change this to "By user".
