Standard Next/Prev buttons showing over custom nav

Oct 01, 2015

Hi folks,

I created a custom nav for my presentation, and it's working very well.

I disabled the player's Next/Prev buttons for the entire presentation. The player's bottom border is a thin line since it knows there are no buttons to display there at any point in the presentation.

However, we've just realized that in the compiled version, when re-visiting question slides, the player Next/Prev buttons are showing up -- they're floating over the slide itself, not on the player, right over the spot where I placed the custom nav. I've attached a screen shot.

Navigation is restricted. I've been combing over the triggers and slide properties trying to figure out why/how this is happening but I can't find anything.

Any ideas??

Hi Heather

by design, the player Prev/Next buttons will display during the 'review' stage of a quiz.  I have a similar issue, in that I have custom nav and (submit) buttons, but the only way I can let users review the quiz is for them to use the default Submit button during the quiz and then they can see during review. Removing the default Submit button means when they click the review button it will go to the first question only and then there is no way of navigating to next slides...This has been listed as an issue with the QA team.
