State bug in question review

Nov 29, 2020

Hello to the whole community!

Thank you in advance to everyone who will help me and I hope my English will be understandable.

I discovered a small bug while customizing the question states.

In my example, the text of my question disappears (or rather turns black and so it looks like it disappears) only in the feedback of my question.

You can see this bug in the example at this link: https://360.articulate.com/review/content/fdc29fd8-1dce-4b38-8fe8-92817afbf2d2/review

If you select the wrong answer "False" and you click on "Review" in the feedback: the text of the answer disappears.

Have you ever had this problem before? I tried to play with the states and several other manipulations, but I couldn't find a solution.

Here is also the *.story file attached.

Thank you all and have a great day.

Hi, Jonathan,

I figured out what's causing this issue. After the user submits their answer, the program disables the response buttons. However, it also still indicates which response had been selected.

With the default states, this doesn't create a problem.  But, in your case, the program combines the black text from the Disabled state with the black highlighting from the Selected state. And that's why you can't see the text.

A simple fix: adjust the color of the Disabled text. For example, in the attached file, I changed the Disabled text to a light gray. That color would show whether the fill is blank (white) or black.

By the way, you have no need to apologize. Your English is quite good!

Hello Judy,

Thank you very much for your message and for taking the time to help me, it is very much appreciated.

Indeed, your solution works very well. I even found another one so that I don't have to change the "disabled" state for each answer: just delete this state.

Thanks again! You have brought me on the right track.
