State change to deactivate a link

Oct 25, 2016

I have a picture that requires 3 states:

1.) normal with a link to show a layer
2.) disabled with original picture
3.) disabled with new picture

My issue is that  state 3 is still linking to show layer when I don't want that link-to-layer to be active.

Any help appreciated!

You can't attach a link to a state. It is attached at the object level, not at the state level. You need to add a trigger to change your picture to the disabled state when some event happens. I did a test:

  1. Picture on base layer with 3 states: Normal, Disabled, and Disabled2
  2. Picture on base layer has trigger "on click to show layer 1"
  3. Layer 1 has a Close button with two triggers:
    1. on click hide this layer
    2. on click change state of object on base layer to Disabled

Since you have a second Disabled state, you'll need to include a trigger or a condition for when that second Disabled state is used.
