Oh i see, sorry i believe I may have misunderstood your initial question. I thought you meant could you change the state of several objects when the learner clicks on an object.
From your response I presume you are currently building a course that has several shapes in it already and you want to add another state to all of those shapes. If that is the case, as far as I'm aware you can try the format painter

Harri's right regarding the format painter. Still, many of us would like to do things like, say, select a number of objects and set their initial state to hidden. Currently, that's not possible. But you CAN make a feature request! I have.
