Hi Robin,

Welcome to the forums.

When you click duplicate an 'add new'  message box will appear to ask you to name the new state. Once you've done this the state will be created with a duplicate of the first state. This is a bit counter intuitive but it should work.

If this doesn't help you could try an SL repair

Quick response - thanks. 

I want to be able to create a visited state on one object on screen and then copy it to similar objects on screen, but the copy function is giving me an 'add new' dialogue box rather than simply copying the visited state and allowing me to apply it to other objects on the screen. 

 Is this clearer?

Hi Robin,

Sorry for the confusion.

Unfortunately SL does not allow you to copy states from one object to another (hover, visited, glow effects etc)

However, if your state is made up of many objects you can go into edit states and copy each object and paste it into a state for another object.
