States buttons

Hello everyone, hope someone can help me with an issue I am having with buttons. I have created some states for a given button, but for some unknown reason today i cannot change/modify the buttons states because the "Edit" option is always greyed.

I have re-booted the system twice but the issue still remains....

Please help !!

Hi Vincent,

Make sure that you haven't accidentally locked your button in the Timeline as this will prevent you from editing the states.

Originally I locked them, but at the moment aren't lock and still "greyed"

Hi Wendy....Thanks for your reply !!

I can upload the file, but its quite large (188 MB) as it does contains 9 buttons 7 with videos and 2 with text !!

If i remove the attached videosto make the file smaller, the buttons cannot be selected for some reason...

Please advice...

Remove some videos, leaving just enough of them to illustrate your problem.

I've taken a look and I can't see the issue.

Here is the Go Back button states tab before I click Edit states

and after I click Edit states and create a new state

I created the states for the buttons, my issue is that I cannot edit/change these states any longer as the "edit" option is still "greyed"

Obviously I have changed something but not too sure what ...

The option I want to reach is the option to the right "Add" and left of "Duplicate" new State... that as shown in the image is "greyed"

Is that option the "Edit"?

Hi Vincent,

From your attached image, you appear to already be in the Edit States mode. All you need to do is to select the state you want to edit, make the changes you wish to make and then click on Done Editing States.

Hi Vincent,

Further to my last post, I meant to add that the button that is greyed out in your image is the Insert Pictures as States button and does not prevent you editing your button states.
