States change when revisiting slide and hovering

I have a lightbox slide the learner repeatedly visits that updates character states depending on how they score in a character pathway. I want each character to maintain the state each time the learner returns to that slide. However, only the first character visited maintains that state when the learner hovers over characters. I have no hover triggers embedded. I uploaded some screenshots (start at bottom as they uploaded in reverse order. I hope this makes sense. Thanks.

Looks like a pretty cool project :)

Any chance you can tell us what your revisiting settings are for that particular lightbox slide?

Or are you able to share the .story file, so the community can take a look at what's happening?

Thank you! I finally figured it out... I had copied "states" using the format painter, so inadvertently copied the "hover" state to some of my characters. When I deleted these from each character it worked. I was thinking way too complex for a simple fix.
