Storyline generates Step-by-Step slides by recording the mouse movements and clicks on your screen. Each time you click, a new step is created. Since Storyline doesn't read the mouse movements and clicks from a video inserted from a file, you'll want to use the Screen Recording tool to create Step-by-Step slides.
