I have a slide that serves as a menu/TOC. It has audio to introduce the course and how to navigate it, and includes close captions. The CC are simply text boxes that appear and disappear in time to the audio. Learners can click buttons to go to the topic they wish to learn about, and then return to the menu. When they return, the button changes color to show that they have visited that topic. However, I want the audio and CC to NOT play when returning to the menu. How can I make this happen? Many thanks!
Thank you Laurel, this works. It is not perfect, though, in that unless I let the slide run all the way through the audio and CC, upon return it picks up at the point I clicked out of the slide. Meh, minor issue. I do not see how it can be otherwise with the available return states.

Hi Rick,
I asked something similar a few months ago. Here's the response I received: https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/how-to-make-audio-not-repeat-on-repeat-visit-to-slide
