Basically we have a button in our slide master that needs to stop audio on any slide when clicked. So far we can see that we have to assign an audio file present on the master to make that happen- but that's not really possible for our course.
Instead of setting it up to pause a specific audio file, as you mentioned the file would need to be present on the master slide, could you instead set it up to toggle a variable, and then set a trigger on each slide to pause the audio based on the value of the variable?
We did consider that but we have multiple audio files on certain slides so we'd need to tell SL which one to play/pause/resume etc we're at the end of the project so are really looking for the simplest solution
Basically, when the user clicks the button additional content comes up - so we've just decided to make that a lightboxed slide instead.
Not the perfect solution as the close button isn't editable and doesn't match our theme but it's the quickest solution we can come up with.
