How do I disable autoplay on the first slide? It is set to "slide advances: by user", but that seems to mean advance to second slide? When I view the course on a web page the slide animation and audio begins immediately. I cannot figure out how to stop it.
You could use the pause trigger or show a layer when the slide begins that pauses the base timeline.
Another way I've dealt with this in the past is by adding all of my play content into a layer that requires user interaction. The cool thing about using this method is you can easily use trigger conditions to present a different experience when the user returns to the slide. For example, if they've already seen an introduction, you can add a slightly different message to another layer to summarize the introduction.
See attached one option to do this. On side 1, I use a layer tat pauses the slide's timeline until the next button is clicked. Then, the animations on slide 1 start. If the next button is clicked a second time, slide 2 is displayed. Hope that makes sense.

So, you want the slide to pause at the start of the timeline?

Put a big red triangle (play button) on the layer and it will have a similar look and feel to YouTube. :-)
Awesome! Thank you for tips!
