Stop Object States from resetting every slide
Apr 18, 2017
Hi,
I've implanted a fully custom "Mute" button, attached to a variable and a .swf sound manager. The button is actually a picture with two states (Selected and Normal) and the audio actually goes silent when the user clicks and the button switches to the "Selected" state (restoring the audio also is working fine).
However, everytime the slide changes, the button automatically switches back to the "Normal" state, reactivating the audio. I need to know if there's a way of making a certain object staying on a certain state even if the slide changes.
The button is located on a master Layout by the way.
Thanks in advance!

Hey Beatriz, great question! It sounds like you'll need to add a trigger to change the state of the button when the timeline starts, based on the value of a variable. Could you attach a sample file so we can take a closer look at what you've got so far?
In the meantime, check out this similar thread!
