I am having a hard time coming up with a way to stop the slide background from fading out when it reaches the end of the timeline. Is there a simple fix that I'm just overlooking?
Hi Moises - what object(s) are in the background? Are they objects you've placed on the slide, or slide master? You should be able to open the timeline and find the object, right-click it, and choose Show Until End from the menu that appears:
The other possibility is that you have an exit animation on the image. I learned this the hard way. Even if you set an object to "show until end", it will fade out or perform whatever exit animation you have set once it hits the end of the timeline.
Thanks for the advice guys. Unfortunately, my problem is that the actual background image fades out and I've tried the fixes mentioned above, to no luck.
What I've done is recorded screen action for internal software, but I have inserted HotSpots for users to click in some areas. The problem is that, even though the hotspot stays on, once the timeline ends, the entire screen goes blank. I am really just looking for a way to stop the background from going white.

Great point, Jamie! Thanks for mentioning that!

So is the background image part of a movie? Any chance you could attach the slide here so we could take a look?
