My firm does not want scores sent to our LMS.We simply want storyline to report someone as complete based on passing a score, and incomplete if they did not pass. Does anyone know how to do this?
Thanks for the quick reply. As you might expect, that was one of the first things we tried as well, ensuring the publish settings were set as complete/incomplete. But it seems that storyline is still sending the score as part of the set of other variables to the LMS. And it’s not something we can easily suppress on the LMS side.
I would love to hear what other thoughts you or the rest of the team may have.
Sorry to hear that it's still not working properly. Would you mind testing your course in SCORM Cloud to help us determine if the issue is Articulate related or if it's on your LMS's side? If it appears in SCORM Cloud as well, we'd be happy to take a closer look at what might be going on. If you can't replicate the issue in SCORM Cloud, it's probably an issue that you'd want to take to your LMS team.

If you'd like to send the file over to us for testing, please submit a support case with your .STORY file. You'll be able to attach the .STORY file on the second page of the following form:
Please be sure to include a description of your issue. Please also include the URL for this thread in the form. Also, please share the case number with me. You're welcome to do so here, or in a private message. This way I can follow the progress of the case and update this thread.
it seems that our course, and even a new sample 3 question course, when set to complete/incomplete still passes a score to SCORM cloud. We consider this a critical bug. I will follow your suggestion to submite a case - we have platinum support so I will do it thru them.
Hi Mark! This thread is a bit dated and in looking at Gordon's old case, it looks like we were going to have an update that would address the issue, but this conversation is for Storyline 1.
I'd like to start new if you are seeing an issue.
How are you setting the tracking options for the LMS?
Do you experience a similar issue when testing in SCORM Cloud?
If you are able to replicate the issue, would you be able to share the .story file for us to take a look?

Hi Gordon,
If your LMS supports the reporting method, you can select the "Complete/Incomplete" tracking option in Storyline.
You can learn more about publishing Storyline for LMS here.

Thanks again Christine. We will follow your SCORM cloud suggestion and see how it goes from there.

Hello Sid! Happy to help!
Have you tried troubleshooting your LMS using SCORM Cloud? It's a great way to tell whether the issue is file specific or LMS specific.
Please keep us posted on the outcome so we can see what is causing the snag!
