Stopping narration on base layer when a new layer is selected

Hi there,

I'm just wondering how I can stop the naration of a base layer when someone clicks on another layer before the narration on the base layer finishes?

I tried to hide the audio from the base layer like you would an object but this option wasn't available.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.
