Storing Quiz Data Input on a Database/Emailing It
Apr 14, 2016
Hi there,
I am currently designing modules that are used to train Health Care personnel for a study. After reviewing the content, they need to complete a quiz (which they have 3 attempts to do). If they complete the quiz (T/F-10 questions) within 3 attempts, they are prompted to a certificate which certifies them as having completed the scores. I was wondering if there was anyway of automatically having their scores sent to our team to monitor their progress?
This could be done on any of these ways in rank of priority:
1) Their test results (from the results page) automatically recorded and sent a webpage that records their name and score.
2) Have their results page taken verbatim and their scores sent to an email after every attempt (reporting if they failed and what score they got).
I have tried using the email feature of storyline before but for some reason it does not send the email even though I add the trigger in. Ideally the text from the score page (whatever mark they got) would be sent to the email or database without having to print screen the whole results page and send it.
If someone could help me with this issue, that would be amazing!

Hi Branavan!
Articulate Storyline is designed primarily as an e-learning development tool to be used in conjunction with Articulate Online or your own learning management system (LMS). Tracking results in a text file or database isn't supported so hopefully someone in the community will be able to assist.
