story line courses showing blank screen for the first time.

Hi,
When i open story line course in our LMS its showing a blank page. If we click manually welcome page (or) Introduction page it plays fine. Once we close the course, and again take the course, there are no issues, course plays correctly and bookmarking (Suspend data) also works fine.
We tried changing some code in index_lms.html and lms.js files, but we were unable to replicate the issue.
If we change the scorm url (default course page ) to Story.html then the course plays fine. That is automatically opening welcome (or) introduction page.
Please help me to solve this issue.
Thank you,
SHIVANAG.

Hello Shivanag, and welcome to Heroes!
Is this behavior happening in one specific internet browser? You can also test this on the SCORM Cloud, the industry standard in testing, to see if this is specific to your LMS.
Here are some troubleshooting steps for LMS, and also some information about publishing to LMS and publishing in HTML5.

Hi ,
Thanks for the reply.
We tested with Scorm Cloud. Its working fine in Scorm Cloud. But its showing this behaviour in our own LMS. We tried to find out the issue. But we aren't success.
Thanks,
SHIVANAG.
Thanks for the reply.
What LMS are you using? There may be some other community members who use the same and may have some additional ideas for you.
We are using our own LMS that plays Scorm 1.2 version courses. The courses which are published with Adobe presenter are working great but the courses which are published with Articulate Story line are getting 2 issues.
1. Course lesson location not throwing. (Cmi.Core_Lesson_Location)
2. When we open the course for the first time it wont shows the first slide automaticaly, we need to click that slide to play.
Thanks
SHIVANAG.
What was the resolution to this issue? I'm experiencing the same issue:
Publish SL 360 to SCORM 1.2 (last week's version of SL)
publish to LMS (SuccessFactors), and launch
Blank gray screen with a play button icon and the name of the file appearing in text in upper left corner of screen.
Hello Diane!
A play button will appear when there are media on the first slide of a course. If you would like the media to load automatically, I'd recommend adding a slide with a one-second timeline and placing it at the beginning of the course.
The current first slide has a 10 second video, and animations.
Hi Diane,
Thank you for confirming that you have the set-up that Lauren described above. Were you able to add a quick blank slide as recommended?
It looks like your email signature came through when you replied via email. You can remove that if needed by clicking ‘Edit’ beneath your response. Here’s a quick Peek video if you need help.
