Storyboard functions in Story view?
Aug 01, 2012
Is there a dynamic way of working in the Story view?
As I find it, the structure is quite rigid in the Story view. For instance, if I have number of scenes that are linked via interaction objects in the Starting scene, the different scenes are lined up horizontally as I create them. But if I want to change order or insert a new scene between the existing ones, that is not possible. To use Cut and Paste is not the answer since Storyline pastes the scene quite arbitrarely! I know, the Story view has nothing to do with the published course. But since it is an overview, it would be good to adjust the content also in this view during the production phase.
Further more: It would be good to be able to print the storyboard from the Story view!
Thanks!

One correction ...
The order which the scenes are created in the story view does show in the published course. It is the order in which the scenes are displayed in the TOC. This makes the feature of a more dynamic Story view even more important.
Hey P-O E,
For any dynamic functions of Story View besides the current drag-and-drop capability, please feel free to share your input with our dev team by way of a feature request. We're always glad to hear customer feedback and input. Thanks!
