I've been playing around with this output option in Storyline 360. It seems to work well, especially for a classroom demo setting where you want to go full screen without a browser window.
Looking at past posts, I've seen a couple from several years back that mention that Flash player is necessary to run the .exe file. Is that still true? Obviously if so, the .exe option is going to be a non-starter for most of us going forward.

Back in July 2017, we made a change to the CD-published output, and now the output is HTML5 Only. No Flash player needed!
That's great news - this is a nice output option for presentation purposes.
