I've had a request to change the colour of some of the existing quiz templates in the Storyline 1 Software to make them easier to read. e.g. Matching Drag & Drop and the Sequence Drag and Drop templates. How can I go about this, I tried looking at the master view and selecting in the main view but don't appear to be able to change anything.
if you click on the outline of the quiz question a Format tab will display and you can make some changes to shape fill and outline of the background - not the actual quiz text holders - see gaudy example below
Hi Wendy, as I thought. Had come to the conclusion that changing the background colour would be the simplest solution. It is the actual text holder (elongated oval shape) that I'm being asked to change.
I think this would would be a nice enhancement to be able to customize this question type a bit more. The development team does take feature requests seriously, so if you have an opportunity, this would be a good request to submit.
In the meantime, perhaps a freeform drag-and-drop interaction would work for you project instead? You'd certainly have more control over the objects and you'd be able to customize them as much as you'd like.
