Until recently, I could publish to Word in Storyline 1 and each layer would be produced as its own screen shot with no bleed through from the base layer or other layers. Now the screen shots are completely ineligible. The appropriate base layer objects have been hidden on the subsequent layers, yet they are visible when publishing to Word.
I want to confirm you are working locally as described here. Publishing to word should show each layer in its own screenshot. you may want to follow the steps here to see if this helps.
you can also post your file here if you would like us to take a look.
Thanks for your reply. Yes, my project is locally housed and the files are published locally. The layers publish separately; however, even though the base layer objects are hidden, such as text boxes, they show on the slide layer on the Word document.
Thanks!
Brenda

I do not see a file attached here. If you send it via email it will not attach to the post. Also, your email signature will appear here as well. You can click on edit to remove that.
My email system may be blocking the attachment. If unable to send the sample file, what settings should I check? I have the base layer objects deselected for each layer and again, this is in Storyline 1.
Thanks for your help!

You would need to select "hide objects on base layer" in the slide properties to have these not show through. Attached is an updated file and the published Word doc.

Thanks for the information Brenda!
Do you have a file you could share for us to take a look?
Hi,
Here is a sample story. Once it is published the images let the base layer bleed through.
Thanks!
Brenda
