Storyline 1: Trigger to change state of next button when markers have been clicked

Mar 02, 2016

Hi all

In the attached slide, I'm trying to get the state of the next button state to change to normal when all of the three markers have been clicked. I've managed to get this to work in another slide, but this is where shapes are clicked, not markers.

Hopefully someone can help as three of us are working together today and none of us can get it to work!

Hi Antonia -

A few suggestions:

  • You don't need to use a trigger to change the state of the Markers to "visited." Storyline does that automatically when the learner clicks on the markers.
  • Instead of executing your triggers when the timeline starts, change your trigger to act on the state of the three objects:

  • Add a trigger to set the Next button to disabled at the start of the slide timeline if the three objects are not all visited:

So here is what the two slide triggers would like like:

Hope this helps.
