I have one more question. I am working on a course that I have created buttons that take the user to links/urls on the internet. However my 508 user cannot access the buttons using the keyboard. Any idea what could be my error?

Are you able to tab to the button? I just tested this functionality and I am able to tab to a hyperlinked button and hitting enter takes me to the defined hyperlink.
If you need to share a .story file for us to take a look, please feel free.
Hey thank you I am attaching the file, Please take a look. I know I can tab
to the button but the 508 user is saying they can not access the button
using the "keyboard"
I do not see a file attached above for me to take a look at. If you still need me to take a look, you are welcome to utilize the 'Add Attachment' option in the bottom left of the reply window.
You can check the version of your software by opening a file in the software, then:
Help > About Articulate Storyline
The Update will be displayed in the top right of that window.
I'm still not seeing a file attached here. Are you attaching via the forums or responding via e-mail? E-mail response will not allow attachments to post.
In various places on the course there is a link indicating the user can
access it for additional information. These items show up as buttons
and I am not able to activate them using the keyboard. I have tried pressing
both the Enter Key and Space Bar and neither works to activate the link.
This happened on the following slides:
Slide 6
Slide 25
Slide 29
Slide 33
Slide 34
How can I correct this?

Looks like the text is not a button, but just text within a textbox. That is why the user is not able to tab to the information. Without requiring much change, you could simply add a hotspot over the text to access.

Hi Lissbeth! For the sake of navigation, that solution would work, but perhaps not if you need it to have Alt Text. Perhaps this reply from a fellow community member will better assist you in your needs.

Are hotspots 508 compliant?
