Storyline 2: Compression when adding extra object states using PNGs
Mar 14, 2017
I am having a bit of trouble with some hover states I'm creating.
I am recreating a GUI of an online system in Storyline, and for this I want to create realistic hover-effects on the buttons so that they mimic the real GUI.
However, when I add in hover states to these images, they compress, leaving artifacts on the buttons that really affect the feel of it (in my opinion).
I've modified the export settings to no avail, but this compression occurs before the export even happens so I'm not even sure whether that would affect it.
Does anyone have any recommendations for fixing this?
Cheers!
EDIT: I've fixed it.
I found that the compression you see is only in the preview mode. Once you export, the compression will be removed and it will export at your chosen export quality settings, regardless of how it displays in the preview.
