Storyline 2 Course Stops Reporting Status and Score

I have a Storyline 2 course that has always functioned correctly, but there was a recent issue for one user where the user completed the course and passed the test, but the LMS stopped receiving data 21 minutes into the course. I'm trying to determine whether the course stopped sending data or the LMS stopped accepting it.


I have been unable to replicate the issue. I even tested the course in SCORM Cloud. It correctly tracked my completion status, success status, score, and time in the course, but I did receive the following Parser Warning:



The Sequencing Control Mode 'Flow' was detected on a leaf node, but is only applicable to cluster nodes. [6022] (Item 'CSA_Stage_I_Assessment_SCO')


Does anyone know what this means, how to fix it, and whether it could cause the issue I've described? And does anyone know of any reason why a course would just stop reporting data to the LMS intermittently (it has always worked except in this one case)?


Again, I'm not even sure that the issue lies in the course. It could be the LMS, but I'm pursuing all avenues. Thanks!

Thanks Alyssa. We would need an NDA (and direct contact information) in order to send you the link to the course. Given that this issue has only occurred once and we haven't been able to replicate it, my manager wants me to just keep my eye on it for now. That being said, I was using Internet Explorer 11 to test the course in SCORM cloud.

We just had another, very similar issue with the same course, and I've received the green light from my manager to continue the troubleshooting process. I'll click the link provided above shortly and start the NDA process, but I wanted to post a description of the latest incident here first.

A participant completed the same course in Chrome. He spent almost an hour and a half on the course, and when he reached the end, he received a score of 78% (below the required 80% passing score). However, 27 seconds into the course, the LMS marked the course as Failed with a score of 0%, and no SCORM data (e.g., responses to individual test questions) are available. I'm not sure whether the issue lies with the course, the LMS, or elsewhere.
