Anyone seen this issue before? I am using the latest version of SL2 and when I publish, there are about 20 pixels on the right that are being cut off. Image of issue and Storyline file attached.
Hi guys, quick update - I've fiddled around with this and whilst it's now showing the right parts of my project - the slides are jumping around to different locations within the project area. It's REALLY weird - it looks fine in the SL project.
Has anyone seen this before?
Just watch the first 3 slides of this course and you'll see exactly what I mean...
but are they both opening the HTML5 versions Phil? If they are, they probably both look broken right? i.e. frame jumps approx 20 pixels across after slide 1
Really cannot see anything wrong, I thought you might have some custom player settings for individual sales but i cannot see any (I didn't check the question bank).
Same on my end - everything is advancing as expected and nothing is cut off. I viewed it in the latest version of Chrome for Mac with HTML5. For the part that you're seeing cut off - have you tried resizing the browser window?
What browser are you viewing it in? Storyline 2 supports Chrome and Safari for HTML5.
Thanks for that video! I see it move but only on that second screen to the third? I tried it on a few others and didn't see the move at all on those ones.
I saw it in Chrome and Firefox with HTML5. I didn't see anything else off in your file either - are you seeing this on a number of courses or just this one?
If you'd like us to dig into the file a bit deeper our Support Engineers are at the ready and I can open the case for you. Based on what I looked at, I didn't see anything that could be causing it - but I also wanted to know more about if it's just this course or if you're able to see it on any other courses?
Have you tried some of the standard troubleshooting like importing into a new .story file as well?
It looks like Cleo has been able to help you out by making modifications to your file and replicating the player settings you were using. Let us know if that helps or if you're still running into an issue with it!
I'm having a very similar problem. This has to be ready by tomorrow, so I'll just have to hack around it -- but in the future, could you and other support staff post solutions in the forum? It's a little frustrating to see that others have had my problem but that there's no actual help in the thread.

Big thanks to Storyline whizz Nejc for helping me with this... but we're both stumped now.
ANOTHER update, it works fine on the HTML version (see below) - it's just HTML5 that doesn't work properly!
Still keen for a solution if anyone can help

Both look the same in Safari and Chrome on my iMac and IE 11 on Windows via Parallels
but are they both opening the HTML5 versions Phil? If they are, they probably both look broken right? i.e. frame jumps approx 20 pixels across after slide 1
Both opening HTML5 they do jump to the right but is doesn't cut off the slide.
ok thanks for the clarification - any idea why this is happening?

If anyone else can help I'd be really grateful! Demo going to a prospect today!

Hi guys - it seems that you cannot see the issue so I made a video to show you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mJxilS0bfrk
I am using Google Chrome (latest version).
Also attached is the latest story file in case that helps a diagnosis.

Yes it only happens on moving from slide 2 to 3 - but also the opening slide is off centre too.
It's only happening in HTML5 - not seeing it in any other courses, just this one.
What's the best way for me to get this issue diagnosed? Email Articulate Support?

Hey Ashley - to answer your queations, yes we tried adding it into a new project and no it's not happening in any other courses.
I would appreciate it if you could dig into this further!
Hi Ant,
I'll open a Support case for you to get some more eyes on this! You'll see someone from my team reach out via email Support@articulate.com.

Hey Gina. I'm sorry that you didn't get the help you needed.
For Ant's project, Cleo opened and saved a new project to his C: drive. He then imported Ant's slides into the new project and replicated the player.
It seems that importing the slides into a new project resolved any corruption that might have occurred in the original version.
I hope that gives you a little more direction.
