I am thinking about buying SL2. Does the actual version make copies of everything like the 30 day trial does? Been having trouble with the test site and nervous if we buy the upgrade that we won't be able to work on our existing files effectively. Has anyone bought and had success with the transition. The trial has been very frustrating.
Are you referring to Storyline 2 making a backup version of files you are opening from Storyline1? If so, then yes, the bought version will do the same thing.
Since Storyline 2 is not backwards compatible with Storyline 1, it will prompt you to ask if you want to upgrade the files, and if so, it will make a backup so you can access the backup file in Storyline 1 if you need to.
