Storyline 2 Drag Drop example and Tincan LMS source target confusion

Mar 02, 2016

Hello

I was following the example at https://community.articulate.com/series/33/articles/create-a-drag-and-drop-interaction

and after creating two drag items (yellow rectangle and blue rectangle) and one drop item (garbage can) I published for Tincan.

When I looked in the tincan.xml created I noticed that the 'source' was the garbage can and the targets where the rectangles.  I would have thought that they would be the other way around (the source being the rectangles and target the garbage can).

I have attached a screen shot of the tincan.xml with an insert image of the Storyline Drag items and Drop targets form view showing the items and targets.

Has anyone had experience using the source/target output from Storyline to Tincan LMS?

Have I done something wrong here?

Any help would be much appreciated thank you.

Kind regards

Ian

Hi Ian,

I haven't spent much time investigating the Tin Can statements, but if you think it's reporting incorrectly based on what you set as the drag and drop targets our team is happy to take a look. We'll want to see the .story file and know where you're tested it as well - and I'd recommend testing it at SCORM Cloud as an industry standard for LMS testing.
