I've only used multiple-choice questions so far, but it seems to be the default that the user cannot proceed to the next slide until answer the question. What type of question are you using?
Hi, Emilie -- Thanks so much for reaching out, and yes, if you could provide a few more details, that would be great! First, can you please describe what you had done in Storyline 1 that was working for you, and also, would it be possible for you to share your file so that others can take a look at how things are set up?
I had the same issue... I noticed Storyline1 has a Require drop down menu when on a question slide. In Storyline2, I do not see that drop down and I need to make the user required to answer all questions.
Hey Erin - I do not see the screenshot you are trying to share here. Looks like you are replying via e-mail, which does not allow your screenshot to come through, but does attach your signature here. You are welcome to pop in and edit.
What kind of question have you added where you are not seeing this option? You are also welcome to share your .story file as well.
Hey again Erin - I just noticed that you asked about a couple of other question types outside of the image of the Pick One that I responded to above. The Graded questions are required by default, so the option is seen on Survey Questions.

You may also find this post, "Force user to correctly answer Multiple Response question before proceeding with hint (after 1st attempt) and shown answer (after 2nd attempt)" to be helpful, as well.

Hey Erin - You can do this within Storyline 2 as well. Here is a tutorial that may assist.

I have a multi choice, drag n drop and fill in the blank question so far.
Attached is the screen shot.
Hi Erin - You are correct. You must be utilizing the Free-form version vs the survey Pick One. That's why it's being handled differently.
The drop down can be found on Survey Questions.
