I've gone through all the imported PPT slides and deleted the auto-inserted triggers that cause the slides to progress automatically, instead of deferring to the Next button. The Next/Prev button triggers are on each slide. Under Menu Options, I've set navigation restriction to Free. However, the whole presentation is still progressing automatically. How do I undo this?
Sort of, attached :) the content is confidential, but I stripped the original PPT into a generic file and imported it into a 4-slide Storyline. Again, I deleted the "jumps to next slide at end of timeline" triggers, but it's still automatically moving from one slide to the next. Attached here.
In your slide properties, you have the slides set to advance automatically. You will need to change these to advance By User and it should resolve the issue.
This is found on the lower right hand corner by clicking on the gear icon. Hope this helps!
This was really helpful for me, thanks Emily and Orland. At the very start of my project I imported some PowerPoint content and I think 'infected' things then... I had forgotten all about that. You guys are awesome.
