Storyline 2 Importing Translation

Aug 14, 2015

When I Translation/Import/Word doc, a box opens, blue bar in box, message says translation completed successfully, but nothing has changed......

I thought this happened because I put the slides into scenes, I have now reordered as orginal, but same problem.

Word is is .doc format.

I have been following these exact instructions. 1. Create a copy of
your original Storyline project file to hold the new language.
Should this copy have the original English as text?

When I tried to import German and Dutch, I got a message that said the
translation was successful, but it was still in English, nothing changed.

Today, (working on Russian) I am receiving the following (1) message. I
click Yes and get the (2)'Set associations for a program'. The
translation is in the first .doc format. Once I close this box, I see the
(3) Importing Translation box, but the blue bar never moves. (I have been
cutting and pasting from the document)

Hi Mary! Are you able to recreate this issue in another project or are you only having an issue with this project?

Yes, if you check out the documentation I shared earlier and watch the Screenr, you can even see the English version updating to the new language.

If you'd like me to take a look at your .story file, please feel free to share.

Also, please be aware that responding to the forums via e-mail attaches your signature as well. You are welcome to pop in and edit if needed.
