I struggled to get JavaScript reliably working in one of my courses, and after tons of visits to these forums I didn't get anywhere. Turns out, my problem was really simple - I had Word Wrap turned on in Notepad (where I do my Java editing). As soon as I unchecked that option and re-pasted the script into Storyline, everything worked beautifully.

I had a similar problem the other day after copying and pasting some javascript from a website and into my trigger. I didn't realize there were line breaks hiding in there!
