Everytime that I try and edit a video, Storyline 2 locks up and I can't even shut it down through Task Manager.
So far, I have tried the following based on other message chains.
1. Ensure I'm operating from a local file
2. Uninstalled, rebooted. Downloaded and installed again. Rebooted. Tried. Fail
Is there anything else that I can do to attempt to fix this? I'm on deadlines here so this is killing me. 2.5 hours into the day and can't finish up this project.
Hi Shannon. I can certainly understand your anxiety when you're under a deadline. First I just wanted to make sure you've bookmarked our support case page so that you can get help with technical issues as quickly as you can. They're around 24/7.
You've done everything that I would have recommended software-wise. I would want to investigate the video file next. Is this just happening with one video file in particular? Could you try inserting that video file into a new project altogether and see if it works? You could also try rebuilding that slide, or even inserting that slide/and or project into a new file.
Let us know how you're making out; feel free to get that case submitted too, in case the above doesn't do it for you!
I just did a work around for today and cropped the video in another program. I did try it in another project and with another video but to no avail. I'll take a run at the problem after I get this present project finished. It is strange.
