I'm using Storyline 2 and I've created a big big course, there are a googleplex of marker, and this 1 marker with just an imagem e making me pull out my hair.
What happens is the marker starts hidden and then gets changed to normal when certain buttons have been visited. We go to the next slide and when we return we can't open the marker... The marker has Normal, Visited and Selected States, it is part of a Button Set.
Hi there Nuno, sorry this is causing you so much frustration! Would you be able to share that particular slide with us? From the original file, you can "Save As" with a new file name, then remove all slides but the one problem slide. Then, attach that .story file here using the ADD ATTACHMENT button at the bottom of the reply window. Hopefully we can help you get this sorted out!
It looks like the "Hidden" state was causing the wonky behavior on those markers. Instead of using an initial state of "Hidden," I created a new state called "Disabled" and made the marker completely transparent for that state. I set the initial state to be Disabled, and now it seems to be working well. Take a look at the updates I made to your file, and let me know if that'll work for you!
Storyline 2 will continue to be supported, and I have brought this issue to the team so we can take a closer look and verify whether or not it's a bug. Sometimes my team catches errors in my logic and we don’t have a bug after all. Of course if that’s the case, I’ll let you know!
Depending on priority and risk, some bugs can be fixed very quickly, while other bugs take longer to resolve. I’ll let you know as soon as we have an update. Thanks so much again for letting us know about this, and I’m sorry if it’s slowing you down.

Here it is. It happens in the second slide in "Key users are"
EDIT: See if it uploaded correctly.

This is a recurring bug in articulate 2, will it be patched or support for articulate 2 been dropped?
