Storyline 2 'Next' button
Apr 28, 2015
I've started using SL2 and am having a strange problem. In Preview or when published, the Next button often does not respond until it has been clicked several times. On one occasion seven mouse clicks were required to persuade SL2 to go to the next slide, which is very silly.
All the other buttons (in quizzes and ones I created within the course) are behaving normally. It's just the Next button that seems sticky. I don't have the problem in SL1 or in any other program, so it's unlikely to be a fault with my rodent.
Anyone got any ideas?

Hi Eoghan
Are you using a restricted menu? If so the Next button in SL2 waits until the timeline ends before it is enabled.
Thanks, Wendy. This works for me.
A silly and unnecessary change that Articulate needs to address and reverse.
Hi Eoghan
here is a workaround that may help you

Hi Eoghan,
You're also welcome to share your thoughts on this in the form of a feature request, but the change was originally made based on users requests that the menu and player buttons worked together.
