I want to download the trial of SL2 but I don't want to overwrite SL1. I have a couple of projects that I don't want to move to SL2 mid-production. If I install v2 do I still have access to v1? Thanks.
You will be able to have both versions of the software on the same computer. You can upgrade your SL1 courses to SL2 (a backup will be created as well) if you wish, but please note that material you develop in SL2 is not reverse compatible to SL1.

Awesome. Thank you both for the quick answers. The auto backup of SL1 when going to SL2 is a great feature, too.
