I'm using Storyline 2 and some days ago I discovered that the Pinch to Zoom function now is active (like SL 3 / SL 360). It would be a very useful function, but, during this action, the browser often stop working and reload the page.
Are you seeing this happen while using Storyline 2 output or are you testing with SL3 or 360? It would help to know a bit more about what you're seeing.
When you see that the browser stops working, are you manually reloading the page? What happens after you reload the page?
I'm using SL 2 output. In Safari Ios 12 pinch to zoom is active; if I use it, many times the page becomes in part grey, then the browser stop working and reload the page. After reloading all works normal, but if use pinch to zoom the problem appear another time and so on.
Thanks for clarifying. Within Storyline 2's HTML5 output it doesn't support gestures, such as pinch-to-zoom or swipe, on mobile devices. That would explain why you're seeing some odd behavior while testing there but not within the trial of Storyline 3 or Articulate 360.
If those behaviors are important for you, I'd look at upgrading your Storyline version and our Sales team is happy to talk through the options with you!

"Dear IOS user, don't use pinch to zoom, browser could stop working"
Articulate will try to find a solution? I have to buy SL3 or SL360?
As Ashley mentioned, Storyline 2's HTML5 output is not optimized to support gestures on a mobile device, and we don't have plans to add that optimization at this time.

As Ashley mentioned, Storyline 2's HTML5 output is not optimized to support gestures on a mobile device, and we don't have plans to add that optimization at this time.
