I have just spent a lot of time creating a module and was previewing it with the intention of checking prior to publishing when my computer crashed. If I try to open the file now it says it is corrupt? Is there any way I get it back. I have been working on this one for a couple of months. I had just saved it before previewing it. Appreciative of any help.
If you cannot open the file directly, you can try and import it into a new file and see if that works. Also, please make sure you are working locally with all of your files as described here.
I am using storyline 2 and that says its corrupt. I am working locally with filesThe error message says the project file is invalid or corrupt or cannot be opened. It may have been created in an earlier version of storyline. THe preview of the file is totally blank.
If I try to open if from the old story line it says it has been created in a newer version. Catch 22.
Тhe same problem. Аfter updating Sl2 my file is corrupt, damaged & … two weeks of my work for nothing. Import (see above) doesn’t work too. What can I do else? And Storyline doesn’t make backup… ((

Hello Yan!
I do see that Ashley has replied with some options in your other thread here.
Diana,
If the import did not work, you could try the steps here. If this does not help, you may want to submit a support case.
