Storyline 2 Quiz

I'm new to the software and am enjoying the features compared to what we had.  We are about to purchase the product as my 30 day free trial is about up.

I created a "TEST" CBT module (Customer Service) to allow users to get a feel for the functionality.  All think Storyline is a great product, but here's my issue I can't seem to resolve:

My customer service module has 5 sections tied to it.  The start slide has navigation triggers taking them to that portion of the training.  When complete, the trigger takes them back to the first slide where they navigate their way to the next section.  As the user completes a section, there is a quiz associated with it.  With 5 sections, I have 5 independent quizzes.  When the user has completed all sections and their associated quiz, he ends up at a results slide that takes all quizzes combined and produces a final score.  I am allowing the user to retake the quiz.  However, when adding the button to allow them to do so, it only repeats the quiz of the 5th section.  I want it to repeat each of the quizzes in each of the 5 sections.  Anyway to do this?  I'm stumped on this one.

Hi Bret,

Does your final results slide calculate the total for all the quizzes by tracking each of the individual results slides as described here - or is it one that you're seeing based on the 5th quiz that you included text indicating the score of the other quizzes? What is the trigger associated with the "retry" quiz button - you could change which slide it's directing to and allow them to proceed through from the menu again?

Thanks for the quick response.  I only have one results slide that encompasses all 5 section quizzes.  Each section does not have a results slide, only a quiz.  My intention was to incorporate quizzes throughout the training module rather than having one final quiz at the end.  I broke my customer service module down into 5 sections each containing a quiz, no results slide.  When I did create the one results slide, it automatically captured the responses in each of the 5 section quizzes which is exactly what I wanted it to do.  However, the "Retry" button is only repeating the quiz in the 5th section.

In reviewing the trigger for the retry button, I could not see how to make it retry all the quizzes.  It's only "retrying" the quiz in the 5th section.  With the total score encompassing all quizzes, naturally I want to the user to retry all the quizzes.

Hi Bret,

Thanks for sharing that here. It sounds like they're all in separate scenes, and therefore it's just directing the user back to the start of the scene of where the 5th quiz is? Have you looked at adjusting the trigger to say "jump to slide X" and set that back to the start of the quiz section so that they can go retry or review the whole thing? 

Without seeing your file, it's difficult to say an exact set up or what you're looking to see - you could share the .story file here if you'd like staff or the community to take a look.
