Hello Brad! This is a known issue in Storyline 2, and our QA team has been evaluating this behavior.  We’re monitoring the way this issue impacts our customers and figuring out how a change here might fit in with other priorities--we’ll include your experience in their report!

I wanted to note that a workaround has been suggested, so hopefully it will suit your needs in the meantime: Manually correct the published Word document by placing the X on the correct answers and removing the X from the incorrect ones.
