I'm making a drag and drop activity and my problem is when a choice is dragged over another choice storyline swaps them, but the swapped choice remains in the same state. So if I place an incorrect answer as a choice and later on swap it out with the correct answer, the incorrect choice remains in a selected state causing the user to get the question wrong. How can I fix this? I attached the project file on my post.
The incorrect answers for the project are - carrying a weapon and being escorted by the police.
Thank you for the quick reply! I've already tried checking that option but it still does not work. When storyline swaps the option out It doesn't reset the state of the incorrect option to back to normal from selected. So after swapping an incorrect option with a correct option the incorrect option remains in a selected state.
Thanks for this! I can use this workaround. Although is there really no other way to keep it that you can only select 8 options? For this kind of activity would this be the only way to do it?

There is always more than one way in SL to do something it's what will work for your project.
When you say 'is there no other way to keep it that you can only select 8 options?' I'm not sure what you mean.
I mean is there a way for the activity to behave how my original file did. That you can only place 8/10 options into the drop zone. When you place more than 8 options in the drop zone the activity would replace and swap out the options so that there would only be 8 options in the drop zone.
Hi, Andrei -- I wanted to stop in to note that if you intended to share your file here in the discussion previously, it did not come through, so you will need to reattach. To do so, please click here to be taken to the post itself, and then use the grey ADD ATTACHMENT button in the bottom left of the reply box. You'll be able to browse and upload from there.

Hi Andrei
have you checked the option 'Allow only one item in each drop target'

Do you want to upload the .story file - easier to assist you with a solution specific to your project setup.
Here's my story file.
Hi Andrei
I made some changes to your file and it works how I think you want it to but my changes may not suit you.
I duplicated your slide and made slide 1.2 with my changes
