I have a button that has two states, normal and selected. The selected state is functioning correctly (triggering a variable change) but it does not visually stay in it's selected state.
All the button is doing is changing a variable (toggle).
The master reloads when you get to a new slide which resets the button state. You need conditions to change the state of the button to normal/selected when the timeline starts based on the value of the variable.

Also, there's some wonkiness with the button.
