there is no slide counter for the player. You could add to your slide but would need to increment it yourself, either byt using text or a variable on the slide
Phil is correct - Storyline does not include slide numbers/page numbers as a part of the player or as an accessible variable. It's been something other users have discussed wanting as a feature, so you're welcome to share your thoughts here as well.
