Noticed in Storyline 2 that the slide time display at the top of the interface remains at 00:00 / 00:00 when viewing slides in the Preview. But now I see that the same thing occurs in the published version. Can't tell from old posts if this feature isn't currently supported or if there's just an issue on my end.
Unfortunately, Storyline 2 does not support the timer feature as Presenter does. The only way to add a timer is to add a quiz and results slide. Is this the timer that you are having issues with? Please make sure you are working locally as described here, and you may want to try importing the file into a new file. If you are still having issues, you might want to try to repair Storyline.
It's that way for the entire file, which is made up of mostly non-quiz slides. For the few quiz slides in the file, the time at the top of the interface exhibits the same behavior. If the feature isn't supported, why does the time even display?
If privacy is not an issue, you can use the Add Attachment button to upload your .story file right here in the thread, and we can take a look at it from there.

I noticed that the timer works in the preview in the Player settings but it doesn't work anywhere else for me.
Would you be able to share your .story file here so that we can take a look?
I have a demo file that is also exhibiting the behavior, so I can share that one. What's the preferred method for me getting the file to you?

I'd rather not post it here. What's an alternative method I can use?
Please use this form.
I just uploaded it.
Thanks Tim - it looks like Christie is working with you on that file.
