I'm using the sliders for a project and have a question. Is it possible to reset the slider to the original setting when the slide it is on is revisited? I have my slider set to show different layers depending on the setting.
Thank you. I'm rather new at Storyline. I know what I have set up in the Trigger Wizard is incorrect because it didn't work. Here are my settings: Action: Adjust variable Variable: slider variable name Operator: =Assignment Value: Value 1 (the initial state is 1) When: Timeline starts Object: slider name (on slide)

Yes, set the variable that is attached to the slider back to its initial value.
Hi Michael,
Thank you. I'm rather new at Storyline. I know what I have set up in the Trigger Wizard is incorrect because it didn't work. Here are my settings:
Action: Adjust variable
Variable: slider variable name
Operator: =Assignment
Value: Value 1 (the initial state is 1)
When: Timeline starts
Object: slider name (on slide)
thank you!
This should be a SLIDE trigger, so that the variable (and with it the slider) is reset when the SLIDE's timeline starts. See attached a quick example.
I've attached a demo of the problem I'm having. Video and time line driven animations will be shown at the different points on along the slider.
Here is one example of how the two slide triggers should be set up.
Beautiful Michael!!
thank you SO much!
Nancy
